My background is in real estate and legal research, but my passion has always been uncovering the stories behind the places we call home. After the recent loss of a beloved family member, I was inspired to create this website and blog dedicated to Asheville and its surrounding communities, celebrating their rich history and heritage.

In my free time, I explore and research the items I’ve inherited or acquired from the estate — each piece carrying its own story. Through this blog, I’ll be sharing those discoveries with the community, offering glimpses into Asheville’s past and the families who helped shape it.
